A strong route depends on more than the locations themselves. Light, weather, access and realistic travel time all influence what works on the day.
Light and timing
Sunrise, sunset, tides and seasonal light are considered where they genuinely improve the route.
Weather
Weather can alter the plan. Alternative locations are considered where they make better use of the conditions and remain safe.
Access
Walking distance, mobility and practical access can be considered from the outset.
Time to photograph
The itinerary leaves enough time to work at each location rather than simply moving between viewpoints.

Accommodation, flights, trains, meals and major transfers are arranged separately unless agreed in advance. Travel between agreed photography locations during the workshop day can be included where planned beforehand.

Poor weather does not automatically mean poor photography. Cloud, mist, rain, wind and changing light can all work well for landscape photography. If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, the route can be adjusted where possible.
